Trouser & utility apparel development
Trousers, denim and utility styles, considered through fit, construction and finishing.

From brief to delivery
What shapes the requirement.
Start with fit and intended use.
Share the garment type, waist and rise direction, leg shape, size range and reference measurements. For utility styles, explain how pockets, closures and reinforcement details should function. For denim, include the intended appearance and finishing direction in the brief.
Define the full material requirement.
Fabric composition, weight, stretch, colour and finish influence development choices. Trims such as zips, buttons, rivets, belts and labels should be included in the specification. Where a particular wash or treatment is required, it needs to be assessed with the production arrangement.
Use sampling to settle details.
The sample review should connect measurements, movement, construction and appearance. Clear corrections and a confirmed specification give production teams a defined reference. Quantities, colour splits, approvals and the delivery requirement form part of the commercial assessment.
