Outerwear development & production
Coats, jackets and considered layers, developed through one connected apparel programme.

From brief to delivery
What shapes the requirement.
Start with the garment’s purpose.
A light layer and a structured coat need different material and construction decisions. Share the intended wearer, climate, fit, reference images and target positioning. Include whether the garment needs lining, insulation, pockets, fastening details or a particular surface finish.
Resolve materials and construction together.
Weight, handle, lining and trims influence both the look and how the garment is made. NWN’s development scope can bring material sourcing, technical specifications, sampling and fit into the same discussion. The exact work is agreed around the brief and the production stage.
Approve before moving forward.
Agree the style, measurements, colourways, size split, materials and sample comments before confirming the production requirement. Costing and timing depend on these decisions, along with quantities and the availability of suitable production partners.
